About Us
Kitchen Ordering Systems creates and updates kitchen cabinet manufacturers' 2020 catalog databases. We are the largest independent catalog creators with a staff of 5 and we offer a Design Help Desk service to assist sales designers with catalog and 2020 questions. We conduct Kitchen Design Training classes using the 2020 program.

Kitchen Dealers and their sales designers use the CAD (computer aided design) program 2020. 90% of all kitchens sold today are designed and priced using the 2020 kitchen design program. This program requires an electronic database called a catalog to show only the products, images, sizes and prices of that cabinet line. All cabinet manufacturers wanting to sell kitchens must provide the 2020 catalog to their dealers in order to sell the cabinets. The program provides the home owner, builder, contractor, apartment builder, and condo developer a graphic picture, a floor plan, elevation drawings, perspectives renderings and a complete list of cabinets with prices.

Since 1990, Gary Sheldon and the staff of Kitchen Ordering Systems has been producing kitchen cabinet catalog databases for kitchen cabinet manufacturers across the United States, Canada and China. We provide a Design Help Desk service to thousands of kitchen dealers and designers. assisting them to design, edit and customize the cabinets and their layouts. This daily contact from dealers keeps us in the forefront and knowledgeable of the trends, conditions, developments and problems of the entire industry, both stock and custom companies.

Kitchen Design Training classes have been presented to over 10,000 kitchen designers since 1974 to the present. These classes are developed to meet the specific needs of each segment of the kitchen industry: novice designers; experienced designers, aspiring Certified Kitchen Designers, designers using the computer aided design program, 2020; who sell to the retailer, wholesaler, remodeler, and multi-unit apartment and condo developers. Training classes are conducted throughout the United States, Canada and the Bahamas for dealers and multi-store groups, such as, The Home Depot and Menards.

Gary has conducted or participated in dozens of national sales meetings. He has toured over 150 cabinet manufacturer's plants. He has designed kitchen displays in over 300 kitchen showrooms. He has written dozens of articles for the trade publications and has been a speaker at many seminars at the Kitchen Bath Industry Show and Kitchen Design Expo over the years.

Gary and the staff are current on the issues of the industry. They have the vision to see the trends of the industry. They appreciate the challenges of the dealer and the complexities facing the manufacturer.
